Thursday Thirteen - planning
These Thursday Thirteen are things I want to do in the future or am in the process of doing at the moment … some simple, some more challenging

- Give the children a thrill with fireworks on Bonfire Night
- Have a different kind of Christmas
- Fund raise for charity (since November 2004, I’ve been heavily involved in events that have raised more that £1,800 in total - I want to keep up with this and keep raising money as well as awareness)
- Get fit(ter) - see if I can beat last year’s time in 2007’s Race for Life
- Join a real life bible study
- Spend more time with the children doing activities of their choice (within reason!)
- Live more generously
- Use my web skill for God in some way - not sure exactly how but we’ll see!
- Continue to become more confident in myself, and enjoy life in the real world without hiding away being shy (I am making progress on this one - big improvement since last year!)
- Show that I’m a follower of Jesus in my everyday life - let his love shine through me in all I do
- Work hard at my job and do my very best, meeting the changes and challenges that are to come with positivity and enthusiasm … while keeping the balance of home and work stable
- Make better use of my free time, without wasting it on frivolous and pointless activities (within reason - we all need to rest and relax, and if watching X-Factor helps me do that then it’s ok!!)
- Do more crochet
Update:
I’ve got Mr Linky installed at last so I’ve added links of those who already commented - anyone else if you are visiting and have a Thursday Thirteen, please put your link in Mr Linky
Thanks!

Great list.
Good luck with everything.
I’d love to get back to doing crochet one day. Maybe once I’m finished with my Masters degree and don’t have to do as much studying.
Happy TT.

I agree with you, on the need to relax a little, too. But I am also trying to cut out too many frivolous things I do and focus on being more productive. Hard to break some of those old routines/bad habits.
I’ve posted my Thursday Thirteen, too. Enjoy!

Web ministry is really starting to branch out. Ever considered doing a “real life” study using something like Skype?

Good luck in everything you strive to do. May God be your strength through it all.
Have a good week!
